A compact apartment for a young couple: arches, patterned tiles in the hallway and plenty of light instead of extra walls.
The brief
Fit a proper kitchen-diner, a walk-in wardrobe and room for guests into 86 square metres without losing the sense of space.
The solution
The hallway is marked out with graphic patterned tiles, and the rest of the flat is tied together by an oak herringbone floor. Tall walnut cabinets hide all the storage; an arched mirror and glass doors add depth.
Materials used
- 01Patterned cement tiles
- 02Oak herringbone parquet
- 03Walnut veneer
- 04Slim-profile glass doors
