A home for a family of four in a new building at the foot of the mountains. Warm oak, olive textiles and soft light — an interior that calms you down after the city.
The brief
Merge the kitchen and living room into one bright space, fit in a study for two and plenty of closed storage — without the apartment ever feeling cluttered.
The solution
Zones are defined by an island, light and a rug rather than walls. The study sits behind a glass partition; floor-to-ceiling storage is built into walnut-veneered niches. The palette is drawn from nature: oak, olive and warm white.
